Bro. John joined the First Southern staff in March 2002. He is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University (BA Music Ed.), Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Church Music). He and his wife, Diana are blessed with 6 children, 1 daughter-in-law, 1 son-in-law, and 6 grandchildren.
Originally from Arkansas, John served churches in Arkansas and Tennessee before moving to Southern Indiana. His involvement in music ministry began with singing in the preschool, children and youth choirs at his home church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve God’s people at First Southern.
